These blinds are GREAT! Bought these to go over a large window above French doors in my living room that allowed way too much direct sunlight to shine in during the late afternoon...and in Florida that makes things way too hot.
PROS: Lots of colors to choose from and the color we picked was a good fit with our decor. They do block the sunlight 100%. The solar panel charger is completely hidden behind the top of the blinds. Programming the blinds to work with the remote was simple. They fit perfectly with the proper measurements I sent. Ordering was a breeze.
The ONLY "con" I can think of is that the motor is a little loud (not too loud, but it does make that cats nervous) but I'm sure that's because these blinds are big, covering a very wide window. However, this should not deter you from getting these awesome blinds.
I got these blinds several months ago and loved them so much that I ordered 3 more light-filtering blinds for my skylights. All of this has lowered our electric bill TREMENDOUSLY!! So happy with this purchase.
